How to Become a Safety Coordinator
USA Water Ski & Wake Sports Safety Coordinators are qualified to:
- Serve as required personnel at sanctioned: club practices, exhibitions, grassroots tournaments and basic skills clinics
- Assist the Chief Safety Director at sanctioned sports discipline tournaments
The Process
Meet the Requirements:
- Become a USA Water Ski & Wake Sports Active Member (Guests and Grassroots members are not eligible)
- Be 18+ years of age
Attend a Clinic
- Check the Officials' Clinic Calendar
- Find a safety clinic instructor using the Officials Directory
Proof of Rating
Upon completion of your clinic, USA Water Ski & Wake Sports will verify you have successfully completed the steps to become a safety coordinator and will send you an email verifying your new status.
Expiration
- Renew Active Membership each year
- Attend a clinic every 4 years
