U.S. Cable Wakeboard Athletes Qualify For World Games

U.S. athletes Trent Stuckey (Orlando, Fla.) and Campbell Scarborough (Winter Springs, Fla.) won the Open Men and Open Women cable wakeboard titles, respectively, on Saturday at the 2024 IWWF Pan American Cable Wakeboard and Wakeskate Championships at Nona Adventure Park in Orlando, Fla. A $10,000 cash prize purse also was up for grabs for the Open divisions of cable wakeboard and wakekate.


Divisions for the tournament included U11, U14, U18, Open, 30+, 40+ and Seated Open. Divisions for cable wakeskate included U18 and Open.


With their victories, Stuckey and Scarborough automatically qualified for the 12th World Games, Aug. 8-10, 2025 in Chengdu, China.
