U.S. adaptive water ski athlete Elisha Nelson (Woodland, Calif.) set a pending women’s A2 (arm disability) world slalom record of 4.00/52k/18.25m on Aug. 17, 2024, at the 82nd Goode Water Ski National Championships at Ski West Village in Arvin, Calif.
If approved by the International Waterski & Wakeboard Federation, the score will eclipse the current record that Nelson set in September 2023 by one buoy.
