USA Water Ski & Wake Sports is pleased to announce five sites from across the United States that will host Learn to Ski Clinics this summer for veterans and individuals with disabilities. The 2023 Adaptive Learn To Ski Program, presented by S-Lines, will take place at sites in California, Florida, South Carolina and Virginia between June 10 and Aug. 19.

Confirmed clinic locations and dates are as follows: Locust Grove, Va., June 10, hosted by Lake of the Woods Adaptive Watersports Foundation; Tampa, Fla., July 15, hosted by Ann’s Angels Water Ski Foundation; Oroville, Calif., July 15, hosted by C.A.R.D.S.; Sandy Run, S.C., Aug. 5, hosted by Adaptive Water Ski Warriors; and Lakeland, Fla., Aug. 19, hosted by Central Florida Water Ski Show Team. More information and participant registration can be found at https://www.sharelifeonthewater.com/adaptivelearntoski.html.

The goal of the clinics is to provide individuals the opportunity to improve their independence, well-being, and quality of life through adaptive water skiing. Each clinic host is prepared to welcome veterans and individuals with various disabilities, including spinal cord injuries, limb loss, vision impairment, and PTSD for a fun and safe day out on the water.

“We are excited for these events,” said Molly Crum, partnership manager of USA Water Ski & Wake Sports. “Water skiing is for everyone, and through this program we are creating more opportunities for individuals with disabilities to experience the thrill of water skiing.”

S-Lines, a supporting sponsor of USA Water Ski & Wake Sports, is a small West Michigan company that is passionate about skiing and making quality ropes for all skiers. For more information, visit https://slinesusa.com/.
