Cypress Gardens Ski Team Wins Southern Regional Show Ski Championships

The Cypress Gardens Ski Team (Winter Haven, Fla.) won the 2022 Southern Regional Show Ski Championships, presented by Visit Central Florida, June 25-26 on Lake Silver in Winter Haven, Fla.

The Cypress Gardens Ski Team earned high-scoring awards for Dock & Equipment Personnel, Pick-Up Boat Crews, Showmanship, Sound Crew Total, Overall Show and High Individual Club Act in tallying a grand total score of 1,519.09 points. The Tampa Bay Water Ski Show Team finished a close second with 1,513.8 points, followed by the Sarasota Ski-A-Rees (1,408.23 points) and the Carolina Show Ski Team (1,126.53 points).

Lake Silver also will serve as the host site of the 5th IWWF World Water Ski Show Tournament, Oct. 19-23, 2022.
