Regina Jaquess (Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.) won the women’s slalom title on Sunday at the 6th Lake 38 Pro-Am, presented by S-Lines, at Lake 38 in Quincy, Fla. Jaquess scored 1 buoy at 41 feet off in the finals to win the title. She was the only women’s finalist to run the 39-1/2 off pass. Some of the world’s top men’s and women’s professional slalom skiers competed in the tournament.

Canada’s Whitney McClintock (3 at 39-1/2) and Jaimee Bull (3 at 39-1/2) finished second and third, respectively, as McClintock earned the tie-breaker from a higher-score in the second round. Australia’s Vennesa Vieke placed fourth (2-1/2 at 39-1/2) and U.S. athlete Allie Nicholson (Gallatin, Tenn.) rounded out the top-five placements (2 at 39-1/2). Jaquess ran the 39-1/2 off pass in all three rounds, scoring 3 at 41 in round one, and 1 at 41 in both round two and the finals.

Great Britain’s Robert Hazelwood won the men’s slalom title after a three-way runoff in the finals. Hazelwood, Great Britain’s Freddie Winter and Canada’s Cole McCormick tied with 3 at 41 before Hazelwood won the runoff with a score of 3 at 41 to Winter’s 2-1/2 at 41 and McCormick’s 2-1/4 at 41.
