Cypress Gardens Ski Team Wins 2024 Southern Regional Show Ski Championships

The Cypress Gardens Water Ski Team (Winter Haven, Fla.) won the team title at the 2024 Southern Regional Show Ski Championships, June 22-23, on Lake Silver in Winter Haven, Fla. Cypress Gardens earned high-scoring awards for dock and equipment personnel, pick up boat crews, towboat driving, and high individual club act show on the way to tallying a grand total 1,653.43 points.
The Tampa Bay Water Ski Show Team, which earned high-scoring awards for showmanship, sound crew total, production and overall show, placed second with 1,596.47 points. The Sarasota Ski-A-Rees (1,398 points) and Carolina Show Ski Team (1,310.23 points) rounded out the four-team field.
