Change Of Venue For Division 1 Show Ski Nationals

The 2024 Indmar Division 1 Show Ski National Championships, presented by Visit Central Florida, will now be hosted by the Lake City Skiers at Hidden Lake in Warsaw, Ind. This change in venue from Loves Park, Ill., to Warsaw, Ind., is due to ongoing flooding of the Rock River and other bodies of water in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. The Lake City Skiers were the only other team to submit a bid to host the 2024 tournament. The tournament dates remain Aug. 9-11.
“I reached out to them a couple of weeks ago to find out if they would be willing to host should it be necessary to move the event,” said Joel Shapiro, president of the National Show Ski Association. “I also asked how much time they needed to mobilize and prepare for hosting. I received official word from Ski Broncs’ leadership last evening and we thank them for their cooperation and honest assessment. We look forward to being back in Loves Park at a future tournament.”
