Cypress Gardens Water Ski Team Wins 2023 Southern Regionals

The Cypress Gardens Water Ski Team (Winter Haven, Fla.) won the team title at the 2023 Southern Regional Show Ski Championships, June 24-25, on Lake Silver in Winter Haven, Fla.
Cypress Gardens earned high-scoring awards for pick up boat crews, showmanship, sound crew total, production and overall show on the way to tallying a grand total 1,531.97 points. The Tampa Bay Water Ski Show Team, which earned high-scoring awards for dock and equipment personnel and towboat driving, placed second with 1,402.99 points. The Sarasota Ski-A-Rees (1,365.47 points) and Carolina Show Ski Team (1,268 points) rounded out the four-team field.
