Rock Aqua Jays Win Mercury Open

The Rock Aqua Jays won the team title at the 2021 Mercury Marine Show Ski Open on Saturday, June 26, on the Rock River at Traxler Park in Janesville, Wis.

The Rock Aqua Jays scored a grand total of 1,713.1 points. The Mad-City Ski Team placed second (1,511.1 points) followed by the Aquanuts (1,503.6 points) and Wonder Lake (1,338.6 points).

In the Rock River Night Jump, Grace Petzold (92.50 points), Ethan Shulda (824.16 points) and Brandon Schleicher & Cody Coffey (70.67 points) won the Girls, Men’s and Pairs freestyle jumping titles, respectively.

In the Flaunt It-Pairs swivel event, Shae Landsverk & Ella Smedema won 180 (7.73 points), Meghan Martin & Maggie Kelley won 360 (9.66 points), and Brea Imse & Caroline Grubbs won Open (15.63 points).
