Designated USA Water Ski & Wake Sports athletes (Water Ski and Wakeboard disciplines only) are eligible to receive health and medical insurance through the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee’s Elite Athlete Health Insurance Program (EAHI), which provides a level of base support to help minimize out-of-pocket medical care expenses. EAHI is administered by Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) and is a preferred provider organization (PPO) plan with a network of medical service providers contracted with BCBS.

Eligibility and Criteria Approved for EAHI:

* The No. 1 ranked USA Water Ski & Wake Sports athletes (Water Ski) in the top 50 IWWF Rankings (which may be found at http://www.iwsf.com/) as of Jan. 1, 2025, in each discipline (slalom, tricks, and jump), and per gender, will be offered EAHI. If the top athlete declines EAHI, the next highest ranked athlete will be offered as long as that athlete is still in the top 50 of their respective discipline.

* For 2025, the top male and female wakeboard finishers in the Open division at the 2024 IWWF Pan American Wakeboard Championships (October 2024 in Auburndale, Fla.) will be offered EAHI. If the top athlete declines EAHI, the next USA Wakeboard finisher at the 2024 IWWF Pan American Wakeboard Championships will be offered EAHI.
