Wonder Lake Wins 2024 Central Regional Show Ski Championships

The Wonder Lake Water Ski Show Team (Wonder Lake, Ill.) won the 2024 Central Regional Show Ski Championships, June 13-14, at Hidden Lake in Warsaw, Ind.
Wonder Lake earned high-scoring awards for dock and equipment personnel, towboat driving, showmanship, sound crew total, production, overall show and high individual club act on the way to tallying a grand total 1,586.06 points. The Lake City Skiers, which earned the high-scoring award for pick-up boat crews, finished second with 1,328.67 points, followed by Chippewa Lake (Norton, Ohio) with 1,312.13 points.
The tournament also included individual acts competition for swivel 180, swivel 360, open swivel, swivel 360 pairs, open swivel pairs, intermediate doubles, open doubles, team jump, women’s freestyle jump, intermediate freestyle jump and open freestyle jump.
