U.S. water ski athlete Jonathan Travers (Groveland, Fla.) won the men's slalom title at the 10th San Gervasio Pro Am, July 6-7, at Jolly Ski in San Gervasio, Italy. Some of the world's top men's and women's professional slalom skiers competed in the event. A live webcast was available both days from The Water Ski Broadcasting Company.
The event included two preliminary rounds on Saturday followed by a third round and head-to-head brackets on Sunday to determine the winners. Travers defeated Great Britain's Will Asher in the head-to-head final, scoring 2 buoys at 41 feet off to Asher's 1-1/2 at 41 off. It was Travers' first professional victory since the 2019 America's Cup Invitational.
Canada's Jaimee Bull won the women's slalom title, defeating France's Manon Costard in the head-to-head final. Bull scored 6 buoys at 39-1/2 off to Costard's 2 at 39-1/2 off.
