South Central Region Wins 41st Collegiate All-Stars

The National Collegiate Water Ski Association’s South Central Region won the coveted team title at the 41st Collegiate All-Stars Water Ski Championships, May 20-21, at Stevenson’s Ski Ranch in Conroe, Texas. The two-day event included the top-10 men and top-10 women from each of the NCWSA's four regions vying for the regional team title and individual titles in slalom, tricks, jumping and overall.

The South Central Region tallied 6,140 points, followed by the Midwest Region (4,795 points), Western Region (2,625 points) and Southern & Atlantic Coastal Region (1,995 points).

Individual event winners were: Louisiana Lafayette’s Arron Davies (Great Britain), men’s slalom (0 buoys at 39-1/2 feet off); Louisiana-Lafayette’s Violeta Mociulsky (Argentina), women’s slalom (2 buoys at 35 feet off); Louisiana-Lafayette’s Luke Outram (Great Britain), men’s tricks (4,520 points), jumping (154 feet) and overall (850 points); Louisiana-Lafayette’s Lily Meade (New Zealand), women’s tricks (2,940 points); and Louisiana-Monroe’s Dominique Grondin-Allard (Canada), women’s jumping (137 feet) and overall (780 points).
