U.S. Senior Pan American Championships Water Ski Team Selected

USA Water Ski & Wake Sports is pleased to announce the 2023 U.S. Senior Pan American Championships Water Ski Team that will represent the United States at the 2023 IWWF Pan American Senior Waterski Championships, Sept. 21-24, at Skyview Lake in Harmony, N.C. The team consists of 30 water ski athletes from six – 35+, 45+, 55+, 65+, 70+ and 75+ – age divisions.
Athletes that have been selected to compete in the 35+ division are: Brian Ansel (Sun Prairie, Wis.), David Carter (Vero Beach, Fla.), Jazmine Gagner (Pelham, Ala.), Dana Hinman (New Hartford, Conn.) and Ryan Ripley (Ingleside, Ill.).
Athletes that have been selected to compete in the 45+ division are: Patricia Burt (Greenacres, Fla.), Chris Eller (Lillington, N.C.), Darin Montgomery (Lake Worth, Fla.), Stephanie Stange (Sherman, Texas), Jeff Surdej (Wilmington, Ill.) and Jennifer Wood (Central, S.C.).
Athletes that have been selected to compete in the 55+ division are: Marc Bedsole (Orlando, Fla.), Carol Brooks (Greenacres, Fla.), Mitch Grau (Carrollton, Texas), Jane Greenwood (Little Rock, Ark.), Hutch Haines (Avon, Conn.) and Tina Lindsey (Martindale, Texas).
Athletes that have been selected to compete in the 65+ division are: Janie Fausold (Pleasant Grove, Calif.), Joy Kelley (Loudon, Tenn.), Eric Lee (San Diego, Calif.), Ted McColley (Napoleon, Ohio), Jack Mills (Jacksonville, Fla.) and Amador Ramirez (Miami, Fla.).
Athletes that have been selected to compete in the 70+ division are: Mark Bozicevic (West Palm Beach, Fla.), Sharon Baker Brown (Orlando, Fla.), Brenda Cavenaugh (Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.) and Sandra Cummings (Lapeer, Mich.).
Athletes that have been selected to compete in the 75+ division are: Donna Switzer (Mulberry, Fla.), Stan Switzer (Mulberry, Fla.) and Dennis Longo (Coral Gables, Fla.).
The teams were selected by the 35+ Sub Committee of the American Water Ski Association’s International Activities Committee.
In addition to individual medals being awarded in slalom, tricks, jumping and overall, an overall team title will be at stake.
