Live Webcast: WI State Water Ski Show Championships, Thursday-Sunday

The 2024 Wisconsin State Water Ski Show Championships, presented by Bank First, will be held Thursday through Sunday at Lake Wazeecha’s Red Sands Beach in Wisconsin Rapids. The event will feature a live webcast for the individual events competition on Thursday as well as the team competition on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The Wisconsin State Water Ski Show Championships is the world’s largest water ski tournament with 24 teams across three divisions competing. The Rock Aqua Jays Water Ski Show Team (Janesville, Wis.) is the defending Wisconsin State and national team champion.
In competitive show skiing, each club has one hour to present a theatrical performance on water skis. Judges score acts by awarding points based on originality, presentation and execution. Elaborate costumes and staging intermix with music and fast action on the water as an announcer leads the audience through the show. In addition to the team competition, athletes compete individually in swivel, swivel pairs, doubles, freestyle jumping and team jumping.
