The first All-American Tournament was held in December 1951 at Cypress Gardens’ Lake Eloise and was an annual slalom, tricks and jump event until 1991. The Cypress Gardens Water Ski Team restarted the tradition as a spring show ski acts tournament at the Martin Luther King Jr. Park on Lake Silver in Winter Haven when the club was formed in 2012.
